The Secretary shall be responsible for the administration of the Society and ensuring its smooth operation. In particular they are in charge of managing Society documents. This includes taking minutes at meetings and announcing General Meetings to the members. All minutes shall be made available to members via online publication.
Was the secretary for the society last year and have been secretary for other societies to before. The secretary position is about organising society meetings and documents but equally important is just supporting the society as a whole. There's only so much someone can say about being organised and doing secretary-like activities so I'll focus on other stuff here. There can be considered a kind of generic committee role of just helping out generally with ideas and running of events and I think I can do and have done a good job of that in the past. I just kinda want to help with running a society I enjoy being a part of.
